Opening Night  •  11 June 2026

On the evening of 11 June 2026, Tiga Art Gallery opened the doors to a select group of guests for the private opening of Nicholas Nana Yaw Kowalski's solo exhibition.

The gallery filled with collectors, friends, and art lovers, all drawn in by the vivid, geometric world that Kowalski has spent years building. The space was alive from the moment people walked in, with guests gravitating naturally toward the works, pausing, pointing, talking.

Kowalski's paintings have that effect. Bold in colour, layered in meaning, they pull you in and hold you there.

The evening was warm and unhurried, the kind of night that reminds you what a gallery is really for.

The exhibition runs through 28 June, open daily from 11am to 7pm. The digital brochure is available on our website. Come and see the works for yourself.

Critical Reception

Arts GhanaBy John Owoo2 July 2026

Abstract worlds speak through texture and emotion

“Tiga Art Gallery has opened its doors to a compelling exhibition of Nicholas Kowalski’s abstract paintings, which transform color, texture, and movement into deeply personal visual narratives … Ultimately, this exhibition celebrates abstraction as a language of feeling.”
